Excitement is already building for the 92nd Academy Awards which take place on 9th February; but just who are in the running to pick up a coveted trophy?
The Academy Awards honours the best films of the year and this year’s event will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, at 11.30pm GMT.
Presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the ceremony is an eagerly-awaited event with actors across the globe hoping to bag one of the prestigious awards.
Despite the event not taking place until next month, there has already been much talk about the contenders for this year’s Academy Award winners for several months. With this year’s Nominations Announcement having took place on 22nd January 2019, we take a look at some of the hopefuls who are in the running to bag a trophy!
